What is a Gig?
Services offered on the site include writing, translation, graphic design, video editing, programming, web designing, WordPress designing. Fiverr’s services start at US$5 and can go up to thousands of dollars with Gig Extras. Each service offered is called a “gig“.
To create a Gig:
- First Login to your Account, Click Selling>>Gigs.
2. Click CREATE A NEW GIG.
Note: If you didn’t have an account on Fiverr then Click Selling>>Start selling, fill out your seller profile and then proceed.
Step 1: Overview
1. In GIG TITLE, give the title to your give. Its maximum length should be 80 characters and minimum 15 characters. Your title should be clear, unique and to the point.
2. In CATEGORY, drop-down section selects the category for your Gig and then subcategory according to your Gig.
3. In SERVICE TYPE drop-down menu, choose a service type to ensure you appear in the search results related to the category you selected. (Available for certain categories)
4. In META TAGS area, select the relevant criteria for each topic. (Available for certain categories)
5. Enter SEARCH TAGS, There should be at least 5 Search Tags. These tags must be a word or a phrase.
6. After this save & continue, and go to the next step.
Step 2: Pricing
1. 1st of all, define your packages. In each package define their name according to your choice. Then define your services in each package that you want to give your clients.
2. Define Delivery time, In how many days you’ll complete your project and give to clients.
3. In REVISIONS sections, define how many revisions you want to give your clients.
4. In PRICE, Set a different price for each package that you provide your clients.
5. If you give extra Revisions to your clients then go to My Gig Extras and select additional Revisions, delivery time and their pricing.
6. Now SAVE it.
Step 3: Description & FAQ
1. In Description, briefly describe your Gig. Which services that you provide in Gig. Describe your Gig features. e.g ( Fast delivery, Quality, Satisfaction).
Note: Must write down one thing (Contact me before ordering).
2. Ask FAQ to your client. It’s an optional part.
3. Then SAVE it.
Step 4: Requirements
1. Tell your buyer which things you need to complete your project e.g ( If you make a website then ask your buyer that he provide you hosting access, FTP or others).
2. Take these requirements in PDF Form.
3. Then Save it.
Step 5: Gallery
1. Upload photos that describe or are related to your Gig. Images must be JPEG, JPG, PNG. 3 files limit.
2. Or you may upload a video of high quality that describes your Gig.
3. You may also upload a PDF file.
4. Save it.
Step 6: Publish
Publishing your Gig
- Click Publish Gigs.
- You’ll see different social networks on which you can promote your Gig.
- Click Done.
Note: If your Gig contains a video, Its status will be pending until You reviewed it. If your Gig does’t contain a video, it will be labelled Active.
